Combs & Clippers Clients Terms of Use

Welcome to Combs & Clippers, a platform designed to connect you to the closest and best beauty experts of your choice for service bookings, scheduling, and income tracking.

By accessing or using our application or website ("Platform"), you agree to the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

To use this Platform, you must

Be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements.
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
Use the App only for lawful and personal purposes.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree not to impersonate another person or create false profiles.

3. Service Use

The App allows you to:

Browse and book services from verified stylists.
Make secure payments within the platform.
Track upcoming and past appointments.
Rate and review service providers.

4. User Roles

Stylists can list services, manage availability, accept bookings, and track income.
Customers can browse, book, pay, and review services provided by stylists.
Customers have 2 hours from the completed appointment to report queries or unsatisfied services/ experiences.

5. Payment Terms

All payments must be made through the App using supported payment options (e.g., debit card, bank transfer, mobile money). Payments for services are processed through integrated third-party providers.
Prices listed are set by individual stylists and may vary.
You will be shown the full cost before confirming a booking.
No additional platform fee is charged to clients at this time unless otherwise stated.
Stylists may be charged a commission or platform usage fee, which will be transparently disclosed.

6. Platform Usage

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Interfere with the security, operation, or integrity of the Platform.
Post false, harmful, or abusive content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel a booking within the timeframe set by the stylist.
Stylists and customers are both responsible for adhering to agreed booking terms.
Refund policies are defined by individual stylist’s terms, but we encourage fairness and communication.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the forfeiture of a deposit or full payment, depending on the stylist’s cancellation policy.
Refunds (if applicable) are subject to the stylist’s terms and will be handled through the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology associated with the Platform are the property of Combs and Clippers or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute any part of the app without permission.

9. Privacy and Data

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
Data may be stored and processed in compliance with local data protection laws (e.g., Nigeria Data Protection Act, Kenya Data Protection Act).
We do not sell your personal information.

10. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms.
You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
You attempt to manipulate the platform.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint:

Contact our in-app support first.
If unresolved, you may escalate to the appropriate consumer protection body in your country.

12. Updates to the App

We may update the App, add new features, or make temporary service interruptions.
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including any service dispute between users.
